Workshop Technician (Mechanical / Subsea / Hydraulic)

We’re currently seeking experienced Workshop Technicians to join a range of clients across the industrial, oil & gas, and maintenance sectors.

These roles are workshop-based and involve working on a variety of mechanical and hydraulic equipment, supporting ongoing maintenance, service, and testing requirements.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for carrying out service and maintenance work on a range of equipment, including mechanical, Subsea, hydraulic and (occasionally) electrical systems.

Day-to-day tasks may include:

• Inspecting, servicing and testing equipment to client specifications
• Mechanical fitting, assembly and hydraulic work
• Using workshop tools, forklifts and overhead cranes for material handling
• Completing detailed documentation including inspection and test records
• Supporting general workshop operations and maintaining a safe, organised workspace

What We’re Looking For

• Trade qualified (Mechanical, Fitter, or similar)
• Previous workshop experience in mechanical and/or hydraulic equipment (ideally 3+ years)
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic drawings/schematics
• Strong understanding of workshop safety and procedures
• Experience with overhead cranes or material handling equipment highly regarded

Highly regarded:

• Forklift, rigging/dogging or working at heights tickets
• Experience in oil & gas, mining or heavy industrial environments
